Claiborne Parish students heading to state track meet

Haynesville High School –
Students from Haynesville High School competed in their Class 1A regional meet on Monday, April 24, at Ouachita Christian School. 
The Tornadoes placed second overall. 
Students advancing to the state meet include:

Homer High School:
Homer High School track students also participated in the regional meet held on Monday at Ouachita Christian School in Monroe.
The 4 x 200M boys’ relay team, which includes Katrevrick Banks, Greg Williams, Spencer Dunn and Rob Monroe, are the only Tornadoes advancing to compete at the state track meet.
Summerfield High School:
Track students from Summerfield High School traveled to Gibsland-Coleman High School to compete at their Class C Regional track meet.

The LHSAA Outdoor Track and Field State Meet will be held at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium at LSU in Baton Rouge, May 4-6. No tickets will be sold in person at the event. To purchase tickets please visit
