A longstanding shopping center in Homer is being auctioned off beginning July 17. They are seeking new local ownership. 

The center, located at 111 W Main Street, has trusted local businesses of more than 18 years like Homer Motors and Homer Seafood. A new discount grocery store, Firesale Grocery, is also opening by next month. 

This 33,793 square foot shopping center was built in 1985 and sits on 2.52 acres of land.

The property has had recent capital improvements including a new HVAC system in 2020 in anchor space, extensive roof renovations with 88% of the roof replaced as of 2020 and new asphalt as of 2020, as well.
