The Haynesville Golden Tornado moved to 3-0 for the year with a victory over the Junction City Dragons.

The game was close early but the Tornado pulled away as the game moved into the second quarter.

Haynesville’s stable of running backs were able to score 5 touchdowns and Eli Bray was 6 for 7 on the evening with extra points and also closing out the first half with a 25 yard field goal.

The Tornado also aired it out with a long touchdown pass from Isaiah Washington to DeMondra Martin. Alonzo Jackson had 2 touchdowns on the evening, one as a rushing touchdown and the other by a kick-off return. Donnie Critton and Gary McElroy also had touchdowns, as well.

The Golden Tornado opens district play this Friday night, September 22, at home vs the Glenbrook Apaches.
