Claiborne Parish 4-H members are returning home with new skills, lasting memories, and impressive accomplishments following a successful week at Louisiana 4-H University.
The annual statewide event brought together 4-H members from across Louisiana for a week filled with educational opportunities, leadership development, competitive events, and networking with fellow youth leaders from around the state.
Local 4-H officials praised Claiborne Parish participants for representing their parish with excellence, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the week.
Among the highlights was the outstanding performance of the Claiborne Parish ATV Safety Team, which earned a third-place finish in state competition. The achievement reflects months of preparation and dedication by team members as they demonstrated their knowledge and skills against top competitors from across Louisiana.
Additional recognition went to the parish’s Tiger Tank Team, which secured a Top 10 finish during the competition, further showcasing the talent and hard work of Claiborne Parish youth.
4-H leaders expressed pride in all of the parish’s participants, noting that the accomplishments earned during the week are a testament to the commitment and effort demonstrated by the students throughout the year.
The success of the delegation was made possible through the support of parents, volunteers, and community members who helped provide opportunities for local youth to participate in the statewide event.
Louisiana 4-H University serves as one of the organization’s premier annual gatherings, offering members the opportunity to develop leadership skills, compete in educational contests, explore career pathways, and build friendships with fellow 4-H members from across the state.
