Town of Homer announces delay in July utility billing

The Town of Homer is notifying utility customers that July billing will be delayed due to an equipment issue affecting the town’s electronic meter reading system.

According to town officials, an equipment failure with the electronic reading system has temporarily disrupted the billing process. As a result, residents should expect their July utility bills to be available around July 10, 2026, rather than on the normal schedule.

Town officials appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as crews work to resolve the issue and restore normal operations.

Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and watch for their bills to arrive once the system is back online.

For additional information regarding utility billing, customers may contact Homer Town Hall during regular business hours.
