Two Homer High School students were recognized for their first-place achievement in the annual Agriscience Fair during the August meeting of the Claiborne Parish School Board.

Azaiyah Franklin and Cayden Franklin were honored for placing first in the Animal Systems Division of the competition.

During the School Board meeting, Kathy Babers, representing U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson’s office, recognized the students for their accomplishment.

The students’ first-place finish highlighted their work in agricultural science and brought recognition to Homer High School and the Claiborne Parish School District.
