The Haynesville Police Department is reminding Claiborne Parish families that time is running out to apply for this year’s Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
The program is available to Claiborne Parish families with children from birth through 10 years old. Pregnant mothers may also apply if their due date is on or before Feb. 14, 2027.
Applications may be picked up at the Haynesville Police Department Monday through Friday after 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Applicants should ask for Morgana.
Completed applications must be returned to the Police Department no later than Oct. 16 to meet the program deadline. Families whose applications are submitted and accepted will receive information needed to pick up their gifts.
Parents or legal guardians must complete the application for participating children. Families are also reminded that children cannot be registered on more than one Christmas assistance list.
The program has limited availability and can accept applications for up to 100 families.
