CLAIBORNE PARISH, La. — Claiborne Parish will remain hot and sunny through the middle of the week before a sharp drop in temperatures brings much cooler conditions for the weekend.

Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 93 degrees. Winds will be calm before becoming southerly around 5 mph during the morning. Wednesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 65.

Thursday will remain sunny and hot with a high near 93. Clear skies are expected Thursday night with a low around 64.

Cooler air will begin arriving Friday, when skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 84. Friday night will be partly cloudy as temperatures fall to around 51.

Saturday will be noticeably cooler with sunny skies and a high near 74. Saturday night will be mostly clear and chilly, with temperatures dropping to around 47.

Temperatures will begin to rebound Sunday, with sunny skies and a high near 80.
