The Homer High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter has officially kicked off their annual sponsorship drive.

This year the Homer High School FFA competed in a multitude of contests, camps and conventions, earning top honors at both District and State levels. Recently they had 4 members who earned state level awards in livestock production.

This year the State Convention and Expo will be held in Alexandria, June 5-8. Homer High School has 7 members eligible to attend, but they need the public’s assistance in covering expenses. The cost for this group to travel to the State Convention is $2,500.

The FFA works hard year-round and this serves as a huge opportunity for them to showcase all the time and effort they have contributed to this organization.

Friends of FFA who make a contribution of $99 and below will receive recognization on social media. Gold friends of FFA who make a donation of $100-299 will receive recognization on social media and will be announced as a pre-game sponsor at a Homer High School home game. Blue friends of FFA who sponsor this group with an amount of $300 and above will receive social media recognization, will be announced as a pre-game sponsor at a Homer High School home game and have a sign on display at the game.
