Friday will continue the trend of summer weather with sunny skies and a high near 94 degrees. Overnight lows will remain in the mid-70s under mostly clear skies.
For Independence Day on Saturday, residents planning outdoor celebrations can expect sunny and hot conditions with a high near 95 degrees. While most of the day should remain dry, a slight 20 percent chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms exists after 1 p.m. Saturday night will be mostly clear with a low around 77 degrees.
Rain chances begin to increase on Sunday, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high near 94 degrees.
Additional scattered storms remain possible Sunday night.
Looking ahead to Monday, the likelihood of rain rises to 50 percent as showers and thunderstorms become more widespread across the area. Despite the increased precipitation chances, temperatures will remain warm with a high near 92 degrees.
